SaveOn Terms of Service

These working terms describe the rules for using SaveOn, including accounts, managed PostgreSQL infrastructure, wallet payments, reservations, migrations, security, and support. They are a draft for review by qualified counsel before final publication.

1. Service and agreement

SaveOn is a software and infrastructure platform operated for customers who need managed PostgreSQL database workspaces, account management, billing, migration support, and related operational tools. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Acceptable Use Policy, and any service-specific terms shown before an action is confirmed.

If you use SaveOn for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.

2. Accounts and access

You must provide accurate account information and keep it current. You are responsible for protecting your password, verification links, recovery methods, API credentials, and any activity performed through your account. Do not share credentials or permit unauthorized users to operate your workspace.

SaveOn may require email verification before sensitive actions, including provisioning, deposits, database operations, or migration actions. You must promptly report suspected compromise or unauthorized activity.

3. Databases and customer data

You retain responsibility for the data, schemas, credentials, applications, users, and workloads that you place into or connect to SaveOn. You must have the rights and permissions necessary to process that data and to instruct any migration or database operation.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups and recovery plans. A deletion, destructive query, credential change, migration, or production action may be irreversible. Review the confirmation screen and workspace instructions before proceeding.

4. Migration services

A migration is a customer-authorized operation involving a PostgreSQL source and destination. You confirm that you own or are authorized to access both systems and that the information supplied for the migration is accurate.

SaveOn is designed to copy source data rather than silently remove the original source. Migration quotes, reservations, validation steps, cutover confirmations, cleanup actions, and expiry periods are shown in the workspace where applicable. Customers remain responsible for final application cutover and for verifying their own application after migration.

5. Naira billing, wallet, and reservations

Customer-facing prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira. Wallet deposits, transaction status, database reservations, renewals, migration charges, refunds, and manual-transfer reviews are recorded in the account billing history.

An instant deposit is credited only after the payment result is verified. A manual bank transfer remains pending until the configured review process confirms it. A database or migration reservation may temporarily hold or deduct wallet funds according to the confirmation shown before the action. Do not submit repeated payments before checking the transaction history or contacting support.

6. Acceptable use

You may use SaveOn for lawful software development, testing, analytics, business applications, education, and production workloads. You may not use it for unlawful activity, unauthorized access, credential theft, malware, fraud, harassment, destructive automation, infringement, or activity that unreasonably harms the service or another customer.

You may not attempt to bypass account, payment, capacity, security, or access controls, nor test systems that you do not own or have permission to test.

7. Security and responsible handling

You must keep passwords, API keys, payment secrets, connection strings, and database credentials confidential. Do not send them through ordinary support messages. If a secret is exposed, revoke or rotate it immediately and notify SaveOn with a description that does not contain the secret.

SaveOn may restrict, suspend, or investigate activity when reasonably necessary to protect customers, data, payments, infrastructure, or the integrity of the service.

8. Availability, support, and third-party services

Service availability may be affected by network conditions, account status, maintenance, capacity, payment status, and services outside SaveOn’s direct control. SaveOn will communicate material service information through appropriate public, workspace, or account channels.

Some capabilities may interact with external infrastructure or payment services. Their availability and terms may affect the corresponding capability. Customers must follow applicable third-party requirements.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using SaveOn at any time, subject to outstanding billing, reservation, support, or legal obligations. SaveOn may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, abuse, security risk, unlawful activity, material breach, or operational necessity.

After termination, access to workspaces or data may be limited or removed according to the applicable retention and deletion process. Customers should export data and close active operations before requesting closure.

10. Changes and contact

SaveOn may update the service, documentation, policies, and these Terms as the platform develops. Material changes should be communicated through appropriate channels. Continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance where permitted by applicable law.

For account and service questions, contact support through the published SaveOn support channel. Do not include passwords, API keys, payment secrets, or connection strings in support requests.
